Kisspeptin-10
Also Known As: Kisspeptin, Metastin, KP-10, Kisspeptin 10, KP10, Metastin 45-54, KISS1 peptide fragment, Kisspeptin receptor agonist, GnRH pulse stimulator, Reproductive neuropeptide, Kisspeptin-10 acetate, KISS1R agonist, metastin
Kisspeptin-10 is a research-grade Endogenous neuropeptide targeting GPR54 / KISS1R on GnRH neurons in hypothalamus studied in Sexual Health & Hormones research. It is supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research use only - not for human or animal consumption, and not FDA-approved.
Evidence Tier: Investigational - In active human clinical trials; not yet approved.
A reproductive-hormone trigger peptide studied for fertility; investigational.

Mechanism Of Action
It stimulates the hypothalamus in the brain to release GnRH. This sets off a natural chain reaction down to the pituitary gland and reproductive organs to boost natural hormone production.
Studied For
- Reproductive axis research
- LH/FSH stimulation
- Fertility treatment
- GnRH pulse regulation
- Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism models
- Male testosterone stimulation
- Female ovulation stimulation
- Pubertal timing research
- Hormonal axis restoration
- Hypothalamic amenorrhea models
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) research
- Sexual maturation research
- LH surge induction
- Spermatogenesis support
- HPA-HPG axis interaction
- testosterone boost
- fertility
- libido
- HPTA restart
- hypogonadism
Reported Research Findings
Human studies show it raises luteinizing hormone and can trigger egg maturation in IVF with low hyperstimulation rates (much of the strongest data uses kisspeptin-54).
Safety And Handling Notes
Generally well tolerated in research infusions; mild headache or injection-site reactions; receptor desensitization with sustained exposure.
Investigational with no approved product; reproductive-axis effects are inappropriate outside controlled study. Research use only.
Regulatory Status
Not approved; investigational / research reagent. Named on the WADA 2026 Prohibited List under S2.2.1 as "kisspeptin and its agonist analogues", a testosterone-stimulating peptide prohibited in males at all times; non-Specified.
